My approach to coaching

Hi, I’m Greg Gibbs, your golf coach. My job is to help you tap into the skills and potential you already have—and bring them to the surface. You have everything it takes to become a better golfer. Through guided coaching, questions, and careful listening, we’ll unlock your full potential—starting with a solid blueprint. Below you will find some of the techniques and approaches we will use to develop your game:

The Golf Machine: Building a Reliable Swing

We’ll focus on:

  • Basic Motion, Acquired Motion, and Full Motion

  • Understanding Power Accumulators and Power Actions
These are the foundations of a repeatable and powerful swing.

Learn to use your body properly to control the club—so the club doesn't control you.
  • MOI (Moment of Inertia) principles

  • Safe, injury-preventing movement

  • Turning, pivoting, and the one-piece takeaway

Your body is your engine. We train it to move the club effectively—and safely.

  • Fewer swing thoughts, more natural motion

  • Honing in on the mental difference between frustration and flow, as well as the difference between pain and ease
